Elijah purchases a betta the last time we were in SF. She bought it with her own money. She did the best she could, taking care of it daily. She even took it to Awana to show it off to all her friends... Well it didn't make it. 13 days after purchase it was gone. The store had a 15 replacement policy but there was no way we could justify driving all that way to replace a fish. I could, but Ryan wouldn't! haha! I didn't bother bringing it up. We did ask some friends but no one was going. Too bad.

Oh poor beta & poor Elijah!! I once had a gold fish that I won at the Brown Co. Fair...I don't think he even lasted that long!!
