No computer yet.
I took it in on Saturday the 9th and they said... "3-5 days."
So Wednesday I called them and they had a price quote for things I had asked them to do. Getting rid of spyware was one of them. I was informed... "3-5 days."
So last night I went to SF and they looked at me with no feeling and stated "3-5 days."
So I questioned... and I was then informed... "3-5 days per user account."
SCREAM!!! Are you serious?????!!!!!
We have 6 users on this computer! Hmm... "3-5 days per user" would mean 18-30 days!!!
That would have so changed my opinions as to handing over my computer. I have a project deadline for Declan's school for Friday and I have no home computer to do it on. Last night I layed in bed and aggonized over how this hindered my plans for the project. I had 3 different designs in my head and now I'm sure I will only have the option of one as I will not be working on programs I am fluent in. I'll have to come into work on the off hours to get it done.
The guy at the store said, "You could come in tomorrow and see," but didn't give me any impression that it would be done. Unless I want a computer full of viruses.
SCREAM!
Lord give me strength! I know this stupid computer is my idol.

LOL I so know how you feel. I was gone from the computer for just this weekend, and by the time I got back to mom's to get the kids, I was twitching to check my mail. Hopefully your 'puter gets fixed sooner rather than later!! :)
