Spiders!

You know how kids have their little theories... and you try and try to tell them the truth and it doesn't matter, they need to figure it out on their own. Well the latest science project is WATER SPIDERS! Umm, no, there aren't any water spiders... OH YES THERE ARE MOM! Whatever!

The kids have been collecting water spiders and making habitats out of crates and saran wrap... (mom just rolls her eyes and walks away). I caught Declan with a new water spider and he promptly put it in my coffee pot.. NO!! Then he put it in my large skillet.. NO!! But MOM! So we butted heads, me trying to explain that my good kitchen things are NO place for his spiders. And him saying they need a home! I pointed out all the plastics and wow was that an insult! I think it ended up in the saran wrap home and I know they aren't there without going to look.

But today Declan comes to me with the end result. "Mom" the spider died. I'm like DUH! I keep trying to tell you spiders don't belong in water! So I told him next time he finds a spider in the water he needs to "Rescue" it! haha! Whatever!
